A história do anime se passa em um Japão feudal futurístico e pós-apocalíptico, onde, aquele que conseguir a bandana simbólica de Número Um(o homem mais forte do mundo), irá comandar o mundo, como um deus. Alguém se torna o Número Um matando o antigo Número Um e tomando sua bandana. Entretanto, somente aquele que tiver a bandana de Número Dois tem direito de desafiar o Número Um. Por sua vez somente o número três pode desafiar o número dois, e assim por diante até o número sete, onde todos podem desafiá-lo. Online

Afros climb of Mt. Shumi is blocked by the fanatical Empty Seven. After attacking with every weapon in their immense arsenal, they unleash Afros most lethal opponent yet - himself.

On Mt. Shumis snowy peak, Afro faces the vicious two-sword technique of Kuma, a bizarre enemy keenly aware of the horrors of Afros past.
5 - Justice
Afro Samurai draws his blade on the reclusive gunfighter Justice. One fights for vengeance, the other for supreme power. When the vicious battle ends, Number One will stand above the dead.
